Random Bits: IndieSolo.com, AdSense Discovery, Build A Niche Store, Affiliate "Project X"
I'm going to be very busy this weekend, so just a few tidbits to tide you over until next week…
- Long-time reader John Ioannou has just launched the beta of indieSolo which he sees as “empowering the indie artist like MySpace empowered the entire indie music industry”. The site will feature a new unsigned independent music act each day and build a community around those acts. Read the indieSolo beta launch press release for more details. One of the ways they'll monetize their site is through traffic, and John's a big fan of this blog for help with that. (Thanks!)
- If you were thinking of buying AdSense Discovery, be aware that the price is going up on Monday according to the package's creator, Ben Shaffer. At $67 it seems fairly reasonable to me, and it has an 8-week money-back guarantee (i.e., it's sold via ClickBank).
- According to the reports I've been getting, Kelvin Firminger has been providing excellent support for purchasers of his Build A Niche Store eBay affiliate store script. And you can integrate AdSense right into your niche store, which is cool. New templates have been added recently, too. Download Kelvin's report 25 Million Products: The Opportunity that Lies in eBay for more information.
- There's a new version of Affiliate “Project X” (APX) available with even more interesting stuff about affiliate marketing. I forgot to mention yesterday that if you buy AdWords Miracle (they're both written by the same author) you can upgrade your purchase to include APX at a discounted price, which is a pretty good deal. One of the things that got added to APX is a quickstart guide to copywriting and niche domination that is very interesting.
As usual, if you have any AdSense questions or things you'd like to see discussed, just drop me a line.
Eric Giguere wrote Make Easy Money with Google, which is not the spammy get-rich book you might think it is, and is about to release (finally) Uncommon AdSense, a book aimed at more experienced AdSense publishers. And no, it won't be overpriced.
