OPAD Day 5

Let’s see what everyone’s done for Day 5 of the One Page A Day challenge. My contribution is an article called Learning How to Make Money With AdSense, which has been distributed to a number of articles sites today. What’s everyone else done?

For today’s entry from my Journal, I wrote about using a homemade Ganzfeld device at Journaling 30-day-trial, Day 7.

This is by far the most interesting entry for me yet!

I greatly enjoyed the conference I went to yesterday, and wrote a summary of it here: SphinnCon Israel Was a Big Success.

Oh, and a great takeaway from the conference. One of the speakers was a chap called Branko Rihtman, who mentioned in passing that Sphinn is a particularly good way to get your post indexed quickly by Google: Sphinn gets your site indexed in Google in just a few hours.

Note to self: Offload as much system administration as possible so you can focus on making money with AdSense sites.

That would be my response if I wasn’t writing up my experiences in my professional blog.

After reading a post above I went to Google and found they were indexing two versions of my new site, one with www and one without (thanks to Tuppy). And they were different. One was still showing results for my web host from when I registered the domain.

I wrote about the solution, a little SEO, here in Forcing Redirect to a www URL with Apache Rewrite for SEO.

    Day 5 and going strong!

I can’t begin to tell you, Eric, how good this challenge is for me. Keep telling myself that I’m motivated, and yes I have so many different important things to attend to every day - getting my site/s set up, etc. but it’s hard to keep focus and finish one thing at a time!

    Great going and thanks!

Hmm, hate to be duplicating things here, but when you ad the helpful track back code so that your blog post automatically shows your OPAD entry day, the track back showing here on MEWG soesn’t show the contestant … for those like me who are “shotgunning” their entries across numerous Blogs and websites, casual readrs won’t be able to follow easily. So, too many words of explanation, here’s my OPAD 5 post:
