OPAD Day 3

February 3rd, 2008 by Eric Giguere Leave a reply »

It’s Day 3 of the One Page A Day challenge. My contribution today is actually for Day 2, as I’m still working on the Day 3 piece: it’s a squeeze page for my new The New 26 Steps To 15K A Day e-course. Those pages are tough to write, let me tell you. And, yes, the site (including the squeeze page) is built with PLRSiteBuilder.

Let’s hear about your contributions…

  1. Ok, this is an impatiant european reader who just finished watching Super Bowl – it was a great game. Subject of article today is very close to the game NY Giants and Eli Manning played, they didn’t give up as we shouldn’t give up if Adsense incomes aren’t big right away.

My content for today is my Journaling 30-day-trial, Day 5 post.

I have to tell you, I’m just on my 5th day, and this Journaling thing so far seems like it could be a useful long-term habit. I’m sure I’ll have a more realistic judgment as I get closer to the 30 day point though.

One thing I’ve noticed as I’m journaling this month is that I have been having to keep in mind to write a journal entry for each day that is insightful, yet “clean” enough to be able to post on the blog without bringing any harm or embarassment to anyone, myself included. What a challenge!

I think if I decide to journal beyond the 30 days, my journaling quality will jump immensely when I don’t have the nagging need to make a publicly postable journal entry!

Thanks for explaining about the nofollow thing. I *think* I understand. It’s something I need to know, for sure, as a blogger.

I spent 3 days last week upgrading my Postgres database, and one whole day trying to get it to run under daemontools – unsuccessfully. For the times when a web developer and programmer need to pretend to be a system administrator I wrote Running Postgres with Daemontools – Shutdown Errors
