No, Joel Comm did not increase my earnings 10 times
This is funny, actually. One of the readers of this blog thought I had stated that my AdSense earnings had increased 10 times thanks to Joel Comm. I was scratching my head over this one until I remembered the posting announcing the Best AdSense Resources of 2005 winners. If you look closely through the results, which I copied verbatim from the original polling page, you'll see this line in the “Personality” category:
Joel Comm (his ebook multiplied my income 10 times over!)
That's certainly a good endorsement for Joel's Google AdSense Secrets book, but it's not my endorsement — that was a voter-submitted nomination! I should have been more careful, I guess, in announcing the results.
Ah well. Joel seems to be a good guy. Superficially it looks like we compete with our books, but we go after different markets, really. My book's for total newbies, his is for experienced webmasters. But there's nothing in his book that I don't already know, and vice-versa. My earnings will increase 10 times thanks to my own efforts 
Joel won't mind about this posting, of course, since any publicity is great.
Anyhow, back to regular content. Tomorrow some more about the ongoing AdSense case study I'm running.
