This posting is specifically for readers of Make Easy Money with Google — but I'll be back later today with another posting of interest to everyone.
First of all, let me thank you for buying my book — it's been great to see it doing so well and to hear from many of you. I'd love to be able to update it with a second edition, but that's up to the publisher to decide, not me and not you.
One area you can help with, though, is getting the word out about the book. If you've told your friends and family about it, that's great. I'd also like you to consider submitting an Amazon customer review if at all possible.
Every product sold on Amazon has a reviews section that anyone registered with Amazon can use to leave feedback — whether or not they bought the product from Amazon. The feedback consists of a rating out of 5, a title, and a (usually short, but some of the reviewers are quite verbose) comment from the reviewer. These reviews are then made available for everyone to see and are very influential in helping potential customers decide if the book/product is right for them.
If you haven't done so already, please take two minutes out of your busy day to submit a review:

Feel free to leave comments as well on Amazon.ca, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de and/or Amazon.co.jp. But if you only have time to do one, choose Amazon.com!
Be honest when you review the book. I don't prefer negative reviews, but I've noticed for the most part that they come from people who really shouldn't have bought the book because I didn't write it with them in mind. Like the “usability consultant” in the UK who obviously knows how to build websites and didn't like my simple, conversational style: “… this approach leads to pages and pages of tedious detail, about who's house they met at, who got up to get the coffee, etc.”. Luckily, they're generally counterbalanced by reviews like this one: “I am embarassed to say it stays by my nightstand and I pick it and reread it fairly often”. Tolstoy I'm not, but I'm glad that person likes it so much! While the negative reviews are disappointing, they do help potential readers decide if the book's right for them or not, probably more so than the positive reviews. (I'm not asking for more negative reviews, though!)
Thanks for reading this, and I hope to see your comments soon on Amazon! Well, back to our regular programming…
