It's AdSense, not Adsense
Let me interrupt my AdSense case study briefly for a little rant. I see people do this all the time, even people like Darren Rowse who should know better.
BEGIN RANT
Google's advertising program for publishers is called AdSense. Not Adsense. Google's advertising program for advertisers is called AdWords. Not Adwords. Note the capital 'S' and 'W' in these two trademarks. See Google's trademark basics page for the official word. We already use “AdSense” as a noun all the time, but let's at least use the correct spelling of the trademark.
END RANT
Whew, it's good to get that off my chest. Now we can continue with the exploration of the Invisible Fence Guide.
Eric Giguere is the author of Make Easy Money with Google, a real (printed!) introductory AdSense book for non-technical people, available at all fine bookstores. Be sure to download the free sample chapter for more information about the book.
