I've updated my Google Suggest Explorer with two features:
- A link next to each phrase opens up a browser window and shows the Google search results for that phrase
- Another link lets you see the Google Trends data for that phrase
Additionally, a link at the bottom invokes the trends with all the phrases returned by Google Suggest, although only the first five get shown. This would be more useful if the phrases were first sorted by popularity; I may do that as an option.
Oddly enough, the Google Trends links seem to work better in Internet Explorer than Firefox. From the latter, I often get a message saying that it looks like an automated query. You have to wait a few seconds and refresh the window before it will work. No such problems with IE…
