Google releases new keyword generation tool

If you're an AdSense publisher who also happens to have an AdWords account (which can be useful for doing keyword value estimation), you now have access to a new keyword generation tool. Meant for AdWords advertisers, you point the tool at the URL of a landing page (the page you send visitors to when they click an ad) and it generates keyword combinations based on the content it finds on that page. And optionally on the pages within the same domain that are linked from this page.

This is yet another tool in your AdSense arsenal. It requires getting an AdWords account, but you may want to do that anyhow to get access to keyword value estimates. Or even to run some test ad campaigns to drive more traffic to your site — yes, you buy ads so people visit your site and hopefully you'll make money when they click the ads or buy products/services you feature. (It can be risky — you're putting out real money to do it — but it works for some people.)

Eric Giguere is the author of Make Easy Money with Google, a real (printed!) introductory AdSense book for non-technical people, available at all fine bookstores. Be sure to download the free sample chapter for more information about the book.
