Follow Me On Twitter

March 25th, 2009 by Eric Giguere Leave a reply »

You can follow me on Twitter here: Eric Giguere on Twitter.

Unlike half the world, I promise not to post inane tweets every five minutes or so. I’ll try to be informative or humorous. Twitter’s a cool idea, but it also globalizes stupidity. Before, only your friends and acquaintances knew you were stupid. Now the whole world has the opportunity to experience it firsthand!

Let’s not fall into that trap, shall we?

Twitter is quickly turning into a giant echo-chamber of pointless tweets. Way to be a non-conformist by adding value instead of empty calories.

  2. Agreed! I

This SuperNews sketch about Twitter is a bit eery with it’s accuracy:

  3. twitter’s not really a stupid idea if people don’t abuse it.

  4. I started using Twitter a few months ago. Initially the benefits were not clearly evident as we do not have any fiollowers. However with time as our followings have grown it has begun to present meaningful opprtunities.

  5. Definitely right, let us not fall into that trap.

    Thanks for the information

I just started following you on Twitter, I am excited to receive your updates! I had to tell you that I couldn’t agree more, it seems that everyone tweets about anything and everything anymore. I have been continuing to learn a great deal about Twitter, and quite honestly I am still baffled by the constant useless ranting that is done there. I am trying to figure out why?

Anyway, as stated, I look forward to your “useful” tweets.

Followed. I highly recommend Tweetdeck if you’re not using it yet Eric. It makes for a much better user experience than trying to sift through tweets in your browser.

  9. Will definitely follow you on Twitter, but please show some respect and follow me back. I noticed a bunch of people following you, but you are barely following anyone.

Twitter etiquette will definitely go a long way!

    Regards,
    Daniel
