Another Absolutely Self-Interested Post

If respected author John Batelle can do it, why not I? Us book authors occasionally have to stoop to shameless self-promotion, because there's a limit as to how much your publisher can do given the zillions of books they have to devote their energies to. (Batelle, by the way, is the author of The Search, which describes the ascent of Google and search engines in general.)

So in the same vein, here's my plea: if you're still looking for an inexpensive but very good (and useful!) holiday gift, please consider buying Make Easy Money with Google and supporting my efforts in writing about Google's AdSense program. This blog, my newsletter and the various other things I do should convince you it's worth your while. The book itself doesn't cost you much, and it's in stock now at Amazon, Barnes & Noble and all major booksellers, online or brick-and-mortar. (In Canada, you can find it at Chapters and Indigo stores.)

Like John, I'm going to offer to do a “virtual book signing”. Send me mail stating where and when you bought the book, what you think of it, and what you'd like to see inscribed on the book and I'll mail you a label with the incription and my signature that you can place right on the book's inside cover. (Be sure to send me your mailing address, of course.) Alternatively, if you want to buy a case of books and have me sign them for real, I'll be happy to oblige! Just contact me for the details.

I'll be happy to send you the book plate (as John calls it) even if you haven't yet received the book, as long as you provide me with some proof that you've bought it.
