280 “How To” Questions To Answer
Running out of ideas for things to write about? Why not see what kind of questions people are asking Google. A lot of questions are asked in “how to” format, as in “how to find a business name”, so I ran the phrase “how to ” (notice the space character at the end) through the SuperSuggester tool and it came up with the following 280 suggestions:
The tool actually generated a larger list, but I’ve sanitized it to remove some objectionable queries of an adult nature. I’ve sorted the data in descending order by the number of pages (approximate, of course) that Google has indexed for each suggestion: the questions at the top are clearly saturated, you’d probably want to consider answering the questions that have fewer pages first to have a better chance of ranking higher. Remember to use the exact phrasing of the question in your page title and headings.
How useful is this data? I can’t say with any certainty except that presumably the queries returned by Google Suggest are what Google considers to be very relevant to what its users are looking for.
